What is a hotel loyalty programme?
A hotel loyalty programme is a membership programme designed to reward guests for staying with a hotel group and its participating brands. Members can earn points and receive benefits through eligible stays and spending, with additional ways to earn available through selected partners, credit cards and other services depending on the programme.

There's more than one way to earn hotel points.
Hotel stays are one of the most direct ways to earn points, but they are not always the only one. Depending on the programme, selected credit cards, travel partners and promotions can also contribute to a member's points balance.

Hotel points do not always have to begin with a hotel stay. Depending on the programme, eligible credit-card rewards, airline miles and other partner currencies may be transferred or converted into hotel points, creating another route toward reward stays and other hotel benefits.
