World of Hyatt is the guest loyalty programme of Hyatt Hotels Corporation, uniting participating hotels across five portfolios, from luxury names such as Park Hyatt, Alila, Miraval and The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, to lifestyle brands including Andaz, Thompson Hotels and The Standard, the all-inclusive resorts of the Inclusive Collection, and classics such as Grand Hyatt, Hyatt Regency and Hyatt Centric, spanning more than 1,500 hotels and all-inclusive properties in 83 countries. With 66 million members, it is also linked to American Airlines AAdvantage and, since July 2026, Air Canada’s Aeroplan.
Members can earn points through eligible hotel stays and spending, as well as selected partners and credit cards, then redeem those points for free nights, suite upgrades, wellbeing experiences and other rewards. As members stay more frequently, they can also progress through World of Hyatt’s elite tiers and Milestone Rewards, unlocking additional recognition and benefits across the portfolio.

World of Hyatt Points are the programme’s rewards currency. Members earn them through eligible stays and qualifying spending, as well as selected credit cards, partners and promotions. Points can later be redeemed for free nights, upgrades, experiences and other travel rewards.
Hotel stays are the main way to earn World of Hyatt Points. Members earn up to 5 Base Points per US$1 on qualifying nights, dining, spa and more. Members with Elite Status receive an additional points bonus on qualifying purchases.

World of Hyatt co-branded credit cards from Chase earn World of Hyatt Bonus Points directly on eligible spending, while Chase Ultimate Rewards points from cards such as Sapphire can be transferred to World of Hyatt. Co-branded cards also add status and tier-qualifying night credits.
World of Hyatt Points can also be earned beyond hotel stays through dining and spa spend, airline partners such as Aeroplan, and limited-time promotions such as Bonus Journeys. Members can also purchase, share or gift points when they need to increase a balance.
The two World of Hyatt co-branded credit cards from Chase earn World of Hyatt Bonus Points directly on eligible spending while also offering benefits such as Elite Status, Free Night Awards and tier-qualifying night credits. Chase Sapphire cards earn Ultimate Rewards points that can be transferred to World of Hyatt.

Points are forfeited if an account is inactive for 24 consecutive months. Earning or redeeming points, converting points to a partner, purchasing or combining points, or holding a Hyatt co-branded credit card all count as activity.
There is no single fixed amount. Free Night Awards are priced by hotel category, and the number of points required also varies by date.
Yes. Members with active accounts can combine points into one member’s account for a redemption by submitting Hyatt’s point-combining request.
Yes. Most airline partners convert at 1,250 points to 500 miles (5:2), with a 5,000-point minimum and a 5,000-mile bonus for every 50,000 points converted in a single transaction. A few partners use their own ratio, for example Aeromexico and Virgin Atlantic, and Aeroplan converts at 2:1 for linked accounts. Allow 6–8 weeks for miles to post.
Guest of Honor is a Milestone Reward. The first award is earned at 40 qualifying nights or 65,000 Base Points in a calendar year, and it can be used on eligible paid and award stays of up to seven nights.
Milestone Rewards begin at 20 qualifying nights and continue every 10 nights up to 150. Members choose rewards such as bonus points, Club access, suite upgrades or wellbeing experiences, and American Airlines AAdvantage rewards at most milestones.
