What Is Minor DISCOVERY?

A hotel loyalty programme that pays you back in DISCOVERY Dollars, from the very first stay.

Minor DISCOVERY is the loyalty programme of Minor Hotels, bringing the group's portfolio under one membership, from Anantara, Elewana Collection and Tivoli to NH Collection, nhow, Avani, NH and Oaks, across more than 560 Minor Hotels. Introduced in March 2025, it replaced the brand-specific Anantara, Avani, NH, Oaks, Elewana and Tivoli DISCOVERY programmes, and existing accounts, balances and stay credits carried over automatically.

Minor DISCOVERY is part of GHA DISCOVERY, the loyalty programme of the Global Hotel Alliance, so members are also recognised across more than 1,000 hotels from 50+ independent brands in the alliance. Instead of points, members earn DISCOVERY Dollars (D$), a percentage of eligible spend returned as a reward currency where D$1 always equals US$1, and move up through four tiers as they stay more.

Membership Tiers

Minor DISCOVERY has four membership tiers, beginning with Silver on joining and progressing through Gold and Platinum to Titanium, the highest tier. Each tier can be reached by eligible nights, by net eligible spend or by staying with different hotel brands in a calendar year, and status then runs through December of the following year. Higher tiers raise the D$ earn rate, D$ validity and on-property benefits.

Silver is where every Minor DISCOVERY member starts, with D$ earning, member rates and members-only offers available from the day you join.

Gold comes quickly, after just two stays, and raises both the D$ earn rate and how long your D$ stay valid.

Titanium

Titanium is Minor DISCOVERY's highest tier, with the top D$ earn rate, longer stays on arrival and departure day, and status you can share.

Earn D$7 for every US$100 of eligible spend, valid for 24 months.

Upgrades & Flexible Timing

Double room upgrade, check-in from 11 a.m., check-out until 4 p.m. and 48-hour room guarantee, subject to availability.

Breakfast & Status Sharing

Complimentary breakfast at participating Anantara and Tivoli hotels, and share your tier once a year.

What Are DISCOVERY Dollars?

DISCOVERY Dollars (D$) are Minor DISCOVERY's rewards currency, and D$1 always equals US$1. Members earn them as a percentage of eligible hotel spend, then apply them to a later bill for stays, upgrades, dining, spa and experiences, with no award chart to decode.

Earning on Hotel Stays

Hotel stays are the main way to earn D$. Members earn a percentage of their net eligible spend (the room rate and eligible purchases such as dining and spa, excluding taxes and fees), with the rate and D$ validity rising by tier. D$ are earned on up to two rooms booked in the member's name.

D$ also come from promotions, which may carry their own amounts and expiry dates. Use D$ Towards Hotel Stays

There is no award chart in Minor DISCOVERY. Instead, D$ are applied as a discount on the bill at check-out, at a fixed value of US$1 each, so a balance can cover part of a stay or, with enough D$, the whole room charge at any of the more than 560 participating Minor Hotels and at participating hotels across GHA DISCOVERY.

That fixed value makes it easy to see what a balance is worth, whether it goes towards a pool villa in the Maldives, a desert resort outside Abu Dhabi or a palazzo in Rome.

Transfer D$ Between Members

Members can transfer D$ to any GHA DISCOVERY member, including Minor DISCOVERY members, through the GHA DISCOVERY app at no fee. Each transfer must be D$100–D$500, the sender needs 90+ days of membership, and up to two transfers can be sent or received per day. Transferred D$ keep their expiry dates, and transfers are final.

Is Minor DISCOVERY free to join?

Yes. Membership is free: sign up online and accept the terms. New members start at Silver and can use member rates of up to 10% off direct bookings, experiences, local offers and complimentary Wi-Fi straight away. There are no physical cards; the digital card lives in the member dashboard and the app.

Is Minor DISCOVERY the same as GHA DISCOVERY?

Minor DISCOVERY is part of GHA DISCOVERY, the Global Hotel Alliance programme. It is the name Minor Hotels uses for its members, and it replaced the earlier Anantara, Avani, NH, Oaks, Elewana and Tivoli DISCOVERY programmes in March 2025. Members earn and use D$ and receive recognition across the alliance's participating hotels.

Do DISCOVERY Dollars expire?

Yes. D$ are valid for 12 months when earned as Silver, 18 months as Gold and 24 months as Platinum or Titanium. The expiry is fixed by the tier you held when you earned them and does not change if you later move up or down. Promotional D$ can have their own, shorter validity.

How many D$ do I need for a free night?

There is no award chart. D$1 is worth US$1, so a night costs as many D$ as the room charge you want to cover, with a minimum of D$10 per redemption. Any amount your D$ do not cover can be paid by cash or card.

Can DISCOVERY Dollars be transferred to another member?

Yes. Using the GHA DISCOVERY app, members with at least 90 days of membership can transfer between D$100 and D$500 per transfer to another GHA DISCOVERY member, at no fee, up to two transfers a day. Transfers are final.

Can DISCOVERY Dollars be converted into airline miles?

No conversion of D$ into airline miles is published. Instead, selected airline programmes, such as Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer, Bangkok Airways FlyerBonus and Iberia Plus, award miles or points for eligible stays at participating Minor Hotels.

Does Titanium include free breakfast?

At participating Anantara and Tivoli hotels only. Titanium members receive complimentary breakfast for themselves and one guest in the same room when they book an eligible room-only rate through a direct channel, served in the designated hotel restaurant. It is not a benefit at every Minor hotel.
